Selene's point of view

As I stood at the top of the grand staircase, looking down at the ballroom, I could hear the sound of clinking crystal glasses, courteous laughing, and quiet talks. I had sent invite to people of high caliber to attend my party and the gala was a masterwork, with every element painstakingly chosen to radiate strength and sophistication. The sea of people was bathed in a gentle golden glow as chandeliers glistened with gems. All eyes were on me, the future Luna of this pack, thanks to my gown, an incredibly smooth crimson design that hugged every curve.
