Liam strolled onto the floor of the venue and just looked at the mentioned venue in Europe. His tribe gathered after 2 decades of being away.

"Are you sure we'll make the ball happen here, Liam?" Lucas, Liam's best friend, inquired.

It won't pose any issues, except for the Alpha who was invited by Odette, and it's that one visitor that's upsetting Liam the most, not the expenses. I'm not sure, but I didn't resist because she's doing it too, but it's worse because she's doing it without my knowledge.

"Yes, so sure. We also deserve to experience this event." Liam told Lucas as he was staring at the huge chandelier on the ceiling.

Liam was envisioning the hall's architecture and was preoccupied with rectifying everything that would happen in a few days. Liam imagined the ball to have a woodland theme. Lucas approached his ear and approached to hear what he had to say while he was glancing at the magnificent hall and scratching his chin.

"Miss Odette was spotted on the Crudal Eastern, and I believe you should be aware of this," Lucas told Liam, holding the cellphone with a picture of her crossing the border.

Liam hesitated and considered something that could lead to another issue, but he shook his head.

"Don't worry, Lucas; I'm just letting her be," Liam informed Lucas, granting Odette's demand to do anything she wanted even though he was hesitant about the way.

"What if she is injured, my Lord?"

"I'm sure you don't want that to happen!"

Lucas was looking all worried about what might happen, but so did Liam. Liam massaged his forehead and took a deep breath in, holding it for a few seconds, and Lucas was surprised when he turned red.

"My Lord!" Lucas said as he shook the red-faced Liam, and Liam decided to let out at the same time, laughing hard.

"Don't be concerned! As I've said, don't worry, Odette will be okay. She's in the hands of my friend." Liam informed Lucas before walking approaching the workers who would design the hall.

Lucas only shook his head, stunned by what I had spoken. I don't know, but I'm sick of these troubles and the news that my family gives me.

After a few days, Odette and Liam look to be fine but not okay. Odette was merely doing what she wanted after Liam gave her permission, and Liam realized that they were exchanging situations.

When Liam was left alone at home waiting for him, he pondered, "Is this how she felt?" while he was out seeking women who can become pregnant and bear children for him?

Liam was pacing in their living room, miserable and depressed, and he decided he wanted to make up for everything Liam had done to her.

Liam quickly grabbed his coat and decided to go to the city to buy a cake, a flower, or even a rose petal. He buckled his seat belt and drove as fast as he could to make amends with his wife, Odette.

Liam returned at a given point, but Odette was still missing. He was shocked she hadn't returned home by now, as it wasn't typical of her, but he didn't bother and just sped through all he needed to accomplish while she was gone. Liam set the table with the cake and the steak he cooked, and when he finally put up the tissue, he decided to sprinkle the rose petals that were on his last bag, and Liam slapped himself on the back and was amazed that he could still do it this way.

Liam was looking at the dinner table and wondered if something was missing.

"How could I possibly have forgotten a candle?" Liam said to himself and facepalmed

Liam got out of the door and patted his pocket to confirm if his key was there. When he threw the key in the air and caught it, he heard someone talking.

"Don't worry, you're the one I love." And Liam knew it was Odette's voice.

He was thrilled and going to go welcome her when he was horrified. Liam stated he was defending her and blocking the awful things his people said to her for all of these reasons, and his hand became a fist.

All Liam did was demonstrate to them that she was not that type of person, but Liam was mistaken, and he was so blind and ignorant, so why is he acting this way? He wondered whether he was the one who was paired with someone else, and Odette was scarcely speaking to anybody, but Liam was taken aback when she claimed that man was the one she loved.

Liam saw Odette kissing Noah, and it felt like a silver knife cutting through his skin.

"When can I make you mine?" Noah asked.

Liam decided to hide, not knowing what to do and how to act.

"3 days from now, at the ball, I'll ask the Elders for their permission to untie the tie I have with Liam."

"But you need to wait more than a month for me to be tied to you. Is that alright? " Odette asked

"Even if it takes a thousand years," said Noah.

And that made Liam transform from a human to a wolf, shredding his clothes because the impact of his overgrown wolf form didn't care if his shredded shirt were scattered for Odette to see and roam across the mountain, and he was running nonstop, not knowing what to do.

He couldn't even howl in his agony, and he was just letting his fur shine with light from the moon when he saw some of his men dragging a maiden inside the big cage with torches in their hands.

For some inexplicable reason, Liam looked at the face that seemed familiar to him.

Liam decided to transform back into my human form as he had already stopped at their post, and some of my men lent me a coat. Liam decided to stand, and then I was about to move closer to see her clearly while tying the coat.

"She's roaming around the woods, Master, and we've never seen her before. My other man said she saw one of us transform and that she's a human. " Sebastian said, the leader of the roaming pack.

"We should kill her because that was against the rules," the other man said.

Liam was just looking at her. As to what his men said, he decided to ignore it because she was quite familiar to him. It's like he's seen her somewhere before, but a bit mature and with a maiden's face.

 

"Turn into your werewolf form, so I can spare you,"

Liam said to her while waiting for her to transform. But she was just looking at them, trembling with a wound on her skin.

While Liam was walking around the cage looking at her hands placed on his back, he realized he had forgotten what had happened earlier, and this situation made him breathless.

"Transform!" said one of the men around her cage, as he banged on the cage.

"Then you left me no choice,"  Liam said and raised his hand in command.

Then a swoosh of air slapped his face, and he saw a man in a red cape bowing in front of him, and he was confused, and then the man in front of him let the cape's hood down just to be flashed with a beautiful maiden, even with dirt and mud on her face, which caught Liam's attention.

"Please forgive my rudeness, but that girl in the cage is my sister, and she's deaf, so she can't respond," the maiden said, and Liam assumed this was the genuine maiden he knew but didn't know where she met her.

"State your rank!" exclaims one of the males, as the lady takes a big sip.

"Omega," she muttered, and the men burst out laughing. Sebastian booted her, sending her flying, and Liam jumped to grab her.

"How dare you perform that act in front of me!" Liam exclaimed, prompting Sebastian to bow and bite his bottom lip, uncertain what he had done wrong.

The damsel then stepped out of Liam's arms and remained still, kneeling and bowing.

"I'm sorry, your highness; it won't happen again," the girl begged.

Then Liam glanced about and saw how anxious the guys were to convince him that they should murder both of them, but Liam felt compelled to spare them.

"Take them to my dungeon, not the one in the city."

The men were just staring at each other, but they didn't understand what Liam was saying.

"Didn't you hear me, Sebastian?!" said Liam.

"Yes, sir!"

The maiden was then placed into the cage, and they were on their way to the Alpha's lair, hoping for the quickest way to die.

While Liam plots his revenge on Odette, the first time he met her, he was attracted by her beauty and opted to hook up with his first-ever buddy.
