The blur of the next twenty-four hours was a hazy, intoxicating thunderstorm. The second the heavy double doors of Penthouse 54A locked behind us, Daniel didn't give me room to breathe. He dragged me against the foyer wall, his silver-gray eyes blazing with a raw, terrifying jealousy over Ethan’s public Instagram post. He marked my skin high up on my throat, claiming me over and over again until the sun went down, making sure I remembered exactly who I belonged to before the new week even started.
