I sat at the head of the mahogany conference table, resting my chin on my folded hands while seven senior vice presidents argued over six decimal points.
"If we push the Reed acquisition into Q4, the tax write-offs alone give us leverage," Vance said, tapping his pen against his glass. "What do you think, Daniel?"
