"H-ha? No ah? Why should I cry when you're not dead" dad answered so I smiled and laughed.

"Didn't you cry? You and mom almost filled my car with tears," brother Harvey suddenly said

"...and a cold" replied brother Pal, so he and Brother Harvey both laughed then gave a high five.

"Dad, look oh, they're bullying us" mom complained to my dad. My father just shook his head because my mother was riding on her children's cheating on her.

My two older brothers approached me and gave me a kiss on both cheeks.

"It's nice to see you're alive sis. I can even get revenge for the panis coffee jelly you fed me" brother Harvey said, making me laugh. It's been years already but he still can't forget it. "We talked to the doctor who looked at you when we were going to your room. He just finished checking you and according to him, your injury was not too deep so there was no internal bleeding."

"They say you're a bad weed. You won't die right away" brother Pal told me..

"But if you set the grass on fire with the PALITO, maybe I'll die too" I joked, so I slapped him on the forehead.

Funny but my brother Pal's real name is Palito Joaquin Lee. Dad named her when my mom was unconscious because it was her first time to give birth. It's supposed to be Palton Joaquin but he forgot the first name and used Palito instead. I was laughing so hard when I found out the story behind my brother's epic name.

"Very funny, Kristot" my brother also teased but I laughed more at his stupid name.

"Ahm...Hi, Auntie, Uncle," said Sophie from the side with the two of them then waved.

God I forgot about them. Sorry Sisi!

"Sophie, akira, Trisha" mom called them without noticing them either, and gave them a hug. "Thank you for informing us about akira" said mother.

The three girls gave her a sweet smile.

"What happened to you, son? Why did you get stabbed?" Dad asked worriedly.

"That's why. This is the first time something has happened to you aki. Do you have an enemy?" Brother Pal asked.

We four friends looked at each other. I looked at them saying 'They don't have to know the truth. I got this'. They nodded at me at the same time.

"Ahmm...because, Dad, Mom, Big Brothers it was a...an a-accident" I lied. "I was on my office, c-cleaning. I didn't pay attention to the box in front of me so I t-tumbled so I grabbed my glass table and what ahm...I broke it." I said without looking at their eyes. "I tried to stand up b-but I...what...I slipped and a broken glass stabbed my stomach"

I almost held my breath after that. I looked at their reaction. They just stared at me...

"You should be careful next time, kid. It's a good thing that nothing bad happened to you," said father, stroking my head.

Thank God! They believed!

"Next time, let the janitress clean your office." Mom's advice. I just nodded my head and smiled

"Mom's right. You're still old so what's going on with you" brother Harvey said so I just made him suffer.

"Yes, mom, dad and brother. This won't happen again" I promised and hugged my parents.

Lying on them makes me sad and angry at myself but I have no choice but to save my marriage.

"Where is thunder?" brother Pal suddenly asked so I suddenly stiffened. "Did he know you were here?"

"P-po? What...ahmm...He-he knows...---"

"He went back to their office to clean akira's office and he mentioned that he missed a meeting that he had to attend but he said he'll be back later to check on his wife" Sophie saved me from my brother. She looked at me and smiled and I mouthed 'thank you sis'

They seemed to believe what Sophie said because they didn't ask too many questions.

"Hey, Trish. Nice to see you here" brother suddenly promised Trisha who was now blushing red.

Didn't I mention that my brother's Trisha was a die hard fan way back when he was still in college? My brother plays with his band and Trisha is their number one fan. She was also the President of their Fan Club. And until now, Trisha likes brother Harvey a lot. But I warned brother not to play with my friend. brother has a bit of a playboy attitude but thankfully it's a little bit more now because he's focused on our business.

"A-me? A-ah...H-hi...I'm Trisha" he said like a fool so the whole room was filled with laughter and teasing.

"Your venom is different, brother. It's breaking the system," I heard brother Pal whisper to brother Harvey.

"It's like that when you're fat and then talented" he answered.

He must have felt that I was staring at them so he suddenly raised both of his hands. "I will behave" he said.

They took a few more hours and talked to the doctor. Fortunately, there was no internal bleeding and no injuries or damage to internal organs.

They stayed for more hours before they decided to continue their trip to Sicily. Their business meeting is too important that's why they have to attend. I understand and I'm the one that pursues them to leave. When the clock strikes 3 pm they leave. Next, the three also left because they had their own work.

And I was left alone. Hoping, praying and wishing that my husband will return to check me. But to my disappointment, he never came. Even in the following days until I was discharged, he did not show up with me at the hospital.

akira's POV

I just got out of the hospital last day and the doctor said I have to stay at home for more days until my wound heals. He said I can work but only at home and so that the sutures of my wound don't open. It's not that deep but it's a bit long so it needs to be sewn.

I looked at the clock hanging in our bedroom.

6:38 p.m

He should be home by now.

But because he's a workaholic, maybe 8 pm is later. Or maybe it won't come home. It's just luck that when nine o'clock strikes it will be at home and will sleep next to me.

I looked at the sky again from the balcony of our room. The sun has set and the sky is starting to darken. The stars around are also shining.

I can't help but to remember my past. Before this 'marriage' happened.

(Flashback)

I was sitting in one of the benches here at our university. It's six o'clock in the evening but I'm still here at school because we just finished our last lesson. I also wait for Sophie because they also have late classes. Trisha and Klare went home first because they said they had a lot of assignments.

I was busy watching the sunset and the shining of the stars when I felt someone seat beside me.

I had a high school crush on thunder and to this day I still like him. Maybe I confessed to him a long time ago, just in case there is a rumor that he and hannah go out sometimes. So I didn't continue the confession and kept it to myself.

"It's late, why are you still here?" I asked him.

"You're still here at night too, did I question you?" He joked then tortured me.

"Crazy. Hahaha." I laughed mixed with excitement but I didn't show it.

"Why are you still here? Won't your parents be angry?" he asked. I shook my head.

"No. I already told them that I will be late coming home because Sophie and I have late classes," I answered.

"Ah, ok. I'm also waiting for hannah" he answered. That's when my smile disappeared.

He still is.

"Ahh.. ." I was the only one who answered then looked again at the sky full of stars.

Just hearing hannah's name ruined the mood I felt a while ago. I'm not mad at hannah, actually I like her because she's super smart. But I just can't help but feel jealous every time I see them together. Because they are a good thing. They are both smart and talented.

It was a bit windy so I got a bit cold. I hugged myself to give a warmth in my body when I felt a warm thing placed n my back.

"If you're going home late, you should always have a jacket with you in case it rains or you get cold. You might get hurt, you're still weak" thunder said to me while adjusting the layering of the jacket on me.

I was surprised by his sudden movement so I couldn't react immediately.P

I stared at his face. He always makes a reason why I should fall harder.

Sofia POV

Kurt and Miya left so I entered the mansion, I noticed Luther was not there yet I looked at him in the room but nothing so I went to my room first to get dressed I were an oversized t shirt and pajamas then I went down to cooked for Luther's arrival there was already food. I'm going to cook adobo because it's Luther's favorite so that's what I'm going to cook. I already had a plate on the table and a glass after I put the adobo on the plate and laid it on the table I just waited for Luther, while I was waiting for Luther I first watched TV 8:46 pm that Luther was not there and then it was still raining Maybe he's still with Hannah, I didn't know I had fallen asleep
