Third Person's POV

"How could you let this happen, thunder! What are akira's parents going to tell you?!" Sophie shouted furiously at her friend's husband while her two other friends, Trisha and Klare, held her arms.

"Well, they don't have to know..." he answered coldly as if what happened to his wife was none of his business.

Because of this answer, Sophie's head became even hotter.

"T-they don't have to know?!---Do you fucking lose your mind?! Their child almost died because of you and they don't have to know?!" Trisha also couldn't stop butting in on the conversation between the two.

"Fun fact, I'm not the one who stabbed her. It was my secretary. So don't blame me" he answered.

"akira found you making out with your goddamn secretary in your own office! Tell me it wasn't your fault!" Sophie shouted as if she had lost hope of giving

thunder makes sense.

"Yeah, so? What's your point?" The man asked

"Fuck off, thunder!" Was the only thing Sophie said.

"shitt! Super shitt!" Sophie couldn't stop spitting on thunder who was sitting comfortably on the couch inside the hospital room where akira was confined in the meantime.

"Is that still you, thunder? I don't know you anymore." Kalare promised in disbelief

The man grinned because of the woman's advice. "You don't know me too well, Klare"

"Your husband almost died because of your nonsense, but for you, it's like...it's like nothing. It's like...it's ok" Klare was crying at the angry promise. "Even a little...even a little...have you worried about your wife? Are you still human? When will you come to your senses? When akira is dead?" There, Klare's tears began to flow.

"Too bad he's not dead yet"

Sophie's slap almost echoed throughout the room. Anger is visible in her eyes.

"W-how can you say that to your wife?" Trisha asked in disbelief.

The man's face remained tilted before he faced the three of them and stood up.

"I never wished her to be my wife. It was her choice to be my wife, not mine. So don't blame me for all the things that may happen to her" he said cold as ice before walking past them .

Before thunder r could get out completely, he stopped.

"And about her parents not knowing about this, Akira won't like it either. It's just a man's trouble and your friend won't like that. Well, it's up to you if you want to say it" he said before leaving the room.

The three women were left unable to believe the man's words. They looked at each other then burst into tears because of the pity they felt for their friend and the anger for his wife.

On the other hand...

After thunder left his wife's room, someone called him.

"Hello, boss?" The person on the other line answered.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"It's here, boss. We've got him" he replied then he heard a shout from the background and men's laughter.

"Good. I'll be there in 10 minutes"

"Yes, boss" then he ended the call.

akira's POV

I woke up to the sound of shoes that didn't stop. It's like it was walking back and forth.

"Will you please sit down, Sophie? I promise you're dizzy," said Trisha's voice.

"Will you shut up, Trisha? I'm still annoyed, promise" he imitated the voice of his friend

I tried to open my eyes and the light and white background welcomed me.

"She's awake!" She heard a voice shout then there were fast footsteps going in her direction.

"Oh thank God you're finally awake, Sissy!

"How are you feeling? Do you need something? Are you hungry? Do you feel thirsty?"

His vision was still a bit blurry and he still needed to adjust his eyes before he recognized the three women whose eyes were full of worry.

"Sissies..." she called them. They were teary eyes but you can see relief in their eyes.

"akira you worry us!" Sophie cried out and hugged me.

"Ouch!" I felt a twinge in my stomach.

"Omg, I'm sorry. I'm just super excited, hehehehe. Peace..." my friend said then gave the peace sign.

Klare combs my hair using her fingers. "How are you feeling, sis?" He asked with concern.

"I'm good." I answered. I just realized that I was in the hospital. I looked at my stomach under the blanket.

So, I didn't die huh? Weakness.

I looked at them one by one then peeked behind them. Hoping to see him. Even cold stares greeted me. It's okay. But I didn't see anything except the couch and table inside.

Is it just them? Didn't he go? Is he really of no use to me?

"He did come." Trisha suddenly said so I looked at her. "Your 'husband'. I meant" he answered then smirked making me smile.

Somehow my heart was filled with joy. I'm so happy knowing that he came. I thought he really didn't care.

"Where is he now?" I asked them then forced myself to sit properly.

I could clearly see how they simultaneously gasped in the air.

"Seriously, akira? You're still looking for him after what he has done to you? You should hate him!" Sophie shouted.

"She's right, aki. Aren't you tired of this? You almost died because of your so-called- husband and yet you're still looking for him? When are you gonna wake up? He doesn't love you, right? He is the one who said it. And even if he cares a little bit, he doesn't feel anything for you" Trisha said annoyed.

I bowed to what Trisha said.

I don't know what to feel.

I'm angry, yes. But not to my husband but to his girls. I don't know but I can't hate him. No matter how many times he has cheated on me, I still want him to come home to me that even sometimes he forgets that someone is waiting for him to come home.

"Hey, sis. Don't stress her. She just woke up," Klare waved at them.

I heard Sophie heave a sigh. "I'm sorry, aki, if I raised my voice at you. I just care for you because I love you. You know that right?" Then she held a hand so I looked at it. "I just can't control my feelings after he says those things about you." He added then I felt the tightening of his hand on mine.

"What did he say?" Full of curiosity I asked them.

At the same time, they avoided looking at me.

"You don't need to know" Trisha said coldly. "You'll just get hurt".

Based on their faces and reactions, I already know it. thunder words hurt more than the wound I got. Because there is nothing more painful than the fact that there is no point and that your husband does not love you.

"Anyways, how did you guys know I was here?" I asked trying to change the topic.

"Your secretary called me. She said you were rushed to the hospital. Then she told us why. Then I informed these two bitches and got our way here," Sophie answered.

Well, those three are on my emergency list in case it happens to me. Weird because it should be my parents or family but I chose them instead. I feel more comfortable with them because my family is more OA if they knew something happen to me like this one. And for thunder, he is still in my emergency list. Top 1.

"Did...did you guys tell my parents?" I asked them.

"Yes" answered the three of them. I looked at them with a frown.

They know I don't want my family to know what thunder is doing. They will force me to file an annulment if they happen to know that my husband is cheating on me.

"B-but we didn't tell them the reason why you were here. We said you were just stabbed and we don't know the reason why" Trisha immediately explained so I was relieved.

And just like a cue, the door opened revealing my whole family.

My mother quickly ran to me. She hugs me really tight so my wound hurts a bit but I endure the pain. They are still OA when they see a child in pain.

"Are you ok, baby? My God, we were in the airport waiting for our flight in Sicily when your friends called us and informed that you were stabbed! My God!" My mom said the voice was too OA.

I forgot that Mom and Dad are on a business trip today with my two older brothers.

She scanned me and my whole body with her eyes full of care. "Tell me, baby, tell mom where it hurts, tell me" my mom said making me smile.

It was his concern that made the pain of my wound go away when I was young until now.

"I'm fine, Mom. It was nothing serious" I answered.

I felt a gentle hand on my head. "We were very worried about you, son. It's good and you're fine" Dad said next to me and I can see a lone tear in his eye.

"Dad..." then I hug him really tight. "Did you cry?" I asked him teasingly.
