Trevor was right. I did survive and make it home, but not before rain drenched me and the cold wrapped around my body like a second skin, entering into my bones and making me shiver violently. Thank the goddess I didn’t have any books in my bag because anything that could’ve been ruined by water got spoiled, including my phone.
