Trevor’s POV

As much as it hurts me to do, I tear my eyes away from Sireen. I force myself to not think about how vulnerable and pretty she looks right now, and how good we felt together just a day ago. It has to be the tension and the boiling anger seated deep in my guts, but my body reacts otherwise to her presence, so I tell myself that I need to go far away because I hate Sireen again.

The thought smells and sounds like bullshit in my head, but that’s all I can do. Hate her.
