If I knew that standing up for myself in front of the whole school would be what it’d take for me to experience a peaceful weekend such as this, I’d have done it a long time ago. And I don’t speak of it in just physical terms, but also emotionally.

Deep down inside, I feel a calmness I’ve not felt in a long time, and my happiness is doubled when I visit the hospital for the second time, and Lily tells me that she’ll be home by the time I close from school on Monday.
