I lay on the floor of my small room, with no candle to burn and keep my body warm.

The cold floor showed me no mercy. The coldness of the empty room stings like desert scorpions.

Irrespective of what I was going through at that moment, I did not give up. Never say never! I won't give up until I reach the dead end of my struggle.

I thought about Allan and the struggle to break through Khan's defensive walls.

I did not want to believe it, since I had not seen any sign that my father would attack any time soon.
