"What's going on here?" My father's question sounded like a roar.
Avery was shocked to look at the door. Her father had just arrived and, looking at Apollo, he seemed ready to attack at any moment. Her father was carrying a wet umbrella and a raincoat.
"Dad..." she got up, worried.
Her mother stepped closer to her father.
"What is that man doing here?" the tendons in her father's neck were about to burst as he was about to attack Apollo.
Her mother stopped him immediately.
"Let them talk. They are a married couple."
"Ever since Avery decided to leave him, they're already separate. They're done!" Apollo's face turned sour.
"You're not used to it. How many times have you ..."
Her father was angry, he bowed with a punch to Apollo, but her mother promptly stopped him.
"We're the ones you fool, you idiot! We can't get used to your stupidity. Marriage for us is until death! Not always separation!" her father gasped in anger.
Apollo seemed to want to growl but preferred not to answer. Instead, he turned to her.
"What? Are we going to get into trouble here? Or are you coming with me?" The seemingly impatient question he asked her.
Avery is confused. She didn’t want to go with Apollo, but she knew he could be violent. And even though her father is old, he doesn't know how to back down. She doesn’t want to mess up anymore.
"When you go with that man again, go with him forever. Because next time, we won't listen to what your problem is, " her father said threateningly."
She bowed and her eyes warmed up.
"Let's go." Apollo pulled her by the hand.
"Release her!" her father would have started.
Avery centered her body on the two of them. She cried when she looked at her father.
"I'll just go with him, Dad."
She could do nothing but ride in the car as if she was out of her mind. They arrived at their new residential apartment. Apollo opened the door with the key. And she entered.
"Look, our sofas are new too. Did you like them?"
Avery barely blinked at what Apollo was referring to as she shook her head as if she was sitting weakly.
She went inside the room got dressed and came out again.
"Let's rest," said Apollo, when he saw she seemed tired of sitting down.
There was fear in her appearance when she heard the word "rest" said by Apollo. He guessed what she was thinking and annoyance was evident on his face.
"I know what you're thinking. But you're wrong. I won't infect you with my disease. I arranged the room so we wouldn't be side by side in bed to sleep."
He turned toward the door of the apartment's single bedroom. Avery stood up and followed Apollo.
"This will be your bed. This beyond is mine. Satisfied?"
The two beds were new. Apollo planned it all. Where their matrimonial bed was, she never asked. She approached the suitcase and opened it. She took out the clothes she had brought when we separates. See if Apollo starts to undress. She turned around as she removed the clothes from the suitcase. Avery already has malicious feelings when she saw her husband naked. He is someone else's to her. Apollo rolled up his torn clothes and angrily threw them into a corner and started putting the clothes back on the hanger. She didn't want to undress in front of Apollo in the same way that he did.
"I'll be in the office tomorrow at noon. Wake me up before seven o'clock." That was all, she heard him say and Apollo was silent.
And she thinks he seems to be asleep. She sighed as she picked up his undressed clothes and her calvary was starting again. Avery dreamt of the man who saved her. It was as if he was holding her hand while they are both playing in the waves. The man who was looking at her laughed and the man's hand moved, and he gently closed her face in his palms. Then his lips slowly came down.
Then Avery suddenly woke up when she looked at Apollo's bed, and she remembered that they were together again. She was ashamed of herself when she realized that she already had a husband and was dreaming of another man. She hugged a pillow and tried to dismiss the image of the man in her mind. The temptation to be close seemed to make his smiling face even brighter in her imagination. It will be morning when she goes back to sleep.
She was awakened by the feeling that someone was watching her. When she opened her eyes, she was even more surprised when Apollo was lying on the side of her bed. He was stunned at the seeming removal of the button on the front of the top of his pajamas. Suddenly, she sat down, holding the front of her dress.
"I have nothing to do with you. I just want to see your body and boobs again," said Apollo, acting to remove her grip on the dress.
She wiped his hand and showed anger at him.
"There's a right time. Not now you haven't... "
"Don't go any further!" Apollo stood up, annoyed.
He slammed the door and didn't even look back when he said,
"I'm going to take a shower. Give me a bathroom towel. " she noticed that it was obvious.
Avery was forced to get up, even though she felt light in her head. She wants to go back to sleep but as she now has an obligation as Apollo's wife, she tried to awaken her spirit. She went to the closet and pulled out a towel and his underwear.
