Amelia's Pov

He did not just do this.

It feels like my whole heart is taken out, smashed into pieces then stumbled upon.

He took her towards the dining table, sat her down directly beside him as if telling his whole pack she's his luna because that seat is made specifically for his mate.

"Amelia, are you okay?" Jasper's voice brought me back to reality.

"Uh?" I asked, directing my attention to him.

"Your hands, they are bleeding." He said.

And just like that, everything hit me, hurt and anger searing through me. I had clenched my fists so painfully that they were drawing blood.

He kidnapped me, treated me like trash even though I'm his mate, and has the audacity to bring in another woman when he knows fully well that I'm still in the pack house and the bond between us isn't fully broken.

Without replying to Jasper, I run out of the pack house, pushing through people so I don't have a full blown panic attack in there with tears streaming down my face.

Once outside, I shifted into my wolf and burst into the bush behind the pack house.

Both Hyna and I are as angry as hell. Normally, it's either Hyna cools me down or vice versa. But now, we both are angry and need to be very far from the pack house to avoid coming in contact with anything that has to do with either Casper or his slut.

I ran around for a long time and only stopped and Hyra gave me control back, making me shift back to my human form when we calmed down enough to see that the moon was out fully and if I'm correct, it'd be 2am or so now.

"What did we do to the moon goddess to deserve this kind of punishment?" Hyna whimpered in my head painfully.

I searched around for clothes and found one on a tree.

She feels the hurt from our mate not wanting us more than I do.

She started howling painfully at the half crescent moon, as if questioning the moon goddess.

"I'm sorry you weren't paired with a better human, I'm sorry you're stuck with a repulsive human like me, I'm sorry y-" I wanted to continue but Hyna interrupted me, snapping at me.

"Shut it, human. It's not your fault Casper is stupid, he's just too blind to see what the moon goddess sent his way, how fucking irreplaceable you are." Hyna said.

I only sighed in exasperation.

I heard twigs breaking behind me which startled me,I was too occupied with Hyra to smell out the person closing up on me.

Deep forest trees with a hint of cigarettes.

Even his scent is comforting and annoying at the same time.

"Amelia!" Casper rasped out.

"What is the big mighty alpha looking for?" I asked sassily.

"Are you fucking stupid?! Where have you been?!" He shouted out.

"And you care, why?" I said matching his tone.

"I've only known you for what? Hours? And you've managed to piss me off more than I've been in months!" He shouted out in annoyance.

"Well, it's not my fault that you don't know what you want, you're a confused asshole. You can't keep me in that suffocating pack house where everyone is fucking strange to me and my mate who is keeping me hostage is busy whoring around!" I screamed out on the verge of tears. But I won't cry, I promised myself not to cry over him again.

"So that's it? You're jealous of Helen that you put yourself out in danger, sleeping out in the woods at night knowing fully well how rogues have been attacking packs lately! " He shouted out too.

So the name of his slut is Helen, because only sluts would hang around other males who aren't their mates.

"What the hell did you expect me to do?! I should stay in the same house with my supposed mate while he's screwing his whore?! " I screamed out.

"Then you should have sensed that I did not do anything to her, if I did, you would have felt it." He shouted out in annoyance.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"Goddess! Are you fucking dumb? You would have felt intense pain if I had sex with her yesterday night." He growled out.

It felt like a cold bucket of water was dumped on me, realization suddenly dawned on me. If he truly had sex or even kids with her, I would have felt it.

We were taught in werewolf sex Ed what it feels like when your mate has sex with another person even if you aren't mated at all.

"That still doesn't explain how you held her yesterday night." I said.

"Amelia, I do not answer to you or anyone. I do whatever the fuck I feel like, regardless of what you think. I do not care. I only came out to look for you, can't afford to face a war with your father if something happened to you when you are on my land. I'll leave my warriors around in case something happens, you can come back to the pack house when you want." He growled out in anger, turned around then shifted into his wolf midair.

He left me there, in the forest with distinct scents which I presume were his warriors and a familiar one; Jasper.

It took everything in me not to howl out painfully before he went out of sight.

Jasper appeared when he left, looking at me with pity.

"Hey. How are you?" He asked.

"M'okay." I muttered.

"Are you ready to leave?"

"Yeah…" I replied.

" Lest I forgot, your pack called. A guy named Cory, I think." He said, rubbing his forehead in frustration as if trying to remember.

"Cole." I corrected it.

"Yeah! He sounded urgent and he kept calling back to ask if you were around."

What he just said made my heart race in anticipation. Was something wrong?

"Can we move faster please?" I asked, feeling the need to contact Cole as soon as possible.

We shifted into wolf form immediately.
