Breathing in, after his words and the clash in my thoughts. I finally proceeded to talk, A word came out of my mouth which was surprising to me that I could ask such a thing from him.

"Dante, are you toying with my heart?" I asked.

Immediately I felt the perplexedness in him as my question hit him like a sharp sword, it was all visible in his eyes.

"Why would you say such a thing to me, Valerie," he said giving a response.

"I just need to know, because I can't pour my all into you while I'd be a joker at the end of it...
