Seeing Valerie leave my office, I was shocked as I didn't expect her to apologize to me.

So I got up from my seated position the moment she left, and I picked up my coffee mug which was placed on my desk as I turned to the transparent glass in my office which made me see the beautiful city of Seattle.

Gently sipping my coffee, I began thinking of Valerie's words as laughter echoed out of my mouth, as I said, "Getting her now, should be easy, only if she is acting grateful,"

And with that, I returned to my seat with the coffee gently placed back...
