Reaching my apartment, I knocked lightly on the door. And no one answered, my worries grew, as I began panicking.

Forcing the door open, I walked inside and didn't see my mother in the sitting room, this heightened my concern, so I called out, "Mom," hoping for a response but I got nothing.

So I continued walking, then my search intensified, leading me to the guest room but I found no one there, I called out once again, and still no response.
