The next day arrived, as I stood up from the bed and left Valerie still resting on the hospital bed, I walked away from the bed as I stood by the window side with my arms folded.

Then, I suddenly heard the sound of the door opening and turning back, I saw it was the doctor.

The doctor was in shock, seeing me stand there, so I hurriedly walked toward him

"Good morning Doctor," I greeted, stretching my hands out to him for a shake.

"Good morning, who are you to my patient," he asked politely, receiving my gestured handshake.

"Oh, I'm-Im- I'm her husband," I lied...
