The disappearance of Sky had the staff and the band anxious. As the leader, Han felt the most burden. He thought that it was his responsibility to look after the members when their managers weren’t around them.

The worst part of this incident was that; no one saw where Sky had gone and no one knew how long he had gone. Manager Park had to call the agency regarding this matter to inform their boss about this. Their road manager, manager Ahn, went out with two members of the staff to search for Sky outside the school compound, worrying in case Sky was taken away by sasaengs.

SOU leader’s mind became tangled as he thought a lot. His legs shook on his seat, in attempt to calm the anxiety that sat in his feeling.

“Guys!” Han finally voiced out, “we should look for him. Only sitting here doesn’t sit right for me.” He shook his head.

Jisung uttered, “but manager Park won’t allow us.”

“We can convince.”

“It won’t be easy.”

Hyun then stood up. He voiced out, “so what if it’s not easy? I’m with Han hyung. I’m going to convince our manager with him.”

Jisung looked down at the ground and stayed mute.

Han walked closer to Jisung as he let out a soft sigh. He landed his hand on Jisung’s shoulder and said, “I know what you’re thinking, Jisung.” The mentioned young man looked up at the leader. “I won’t let you go around the school alone.”

Jisung blinked his eyes multiple times.

“I’m partnering you with Joonwoo. How about that?”

“If the maknae* is fine, then –”

With mouth full of tidbits, Joonwoo interfered Jisung, “I don’t mind with who.”

Jisung nodded his head, agreeing. “Sure then.”

The leader got this set. The only obstacle he needed to go through was his manager. He clapped his hands once. “Alright. So, Hyun, you’re coming with me. Dongmin, you’re going with Chanwook hyung.”

Chanwook and Dongmin gave him an okay sign.

Han showed a bitter smile to Hyun as he blinked his eyes multiple times. “let’s convince the stubborn oldie first.”

While Han and Hyun went out to convince manager Park, Jisung spoke to Joonwoo. “Don’t leave me, you hear?!”

“Don’t worry,” Joonwoo said as he stared at the older man through the tail of his eyes as he shoved a cheese ball into his mouth.

“Well… good.”

The youngest member of SOU nodded his head without a word.

“I’m not allowing that.”

“It’s going to save our time!” Han said.

“I rather go home late than putting you boys’ safety on risk.”

Hyun said, “Sky hyung’s safety is at risk right now. Dragging out the time longer will put his safety much riskier.”

Manager Park uttered, “but boys, our crew is big enough to separate and find him. This school’s not as huge as a castle.”

Han gritted his teeth, holding his anger back and before let out a sigh. “I don’t care. I-I don’t feel better just by sitting down and do nothing and think of how one of my member safety is at risk. This won’t do us anything. You know well that we aren’t here to play. Most of us were close with Sky before he disappeared, I find it weird that no one has clues to where he went.”

The manager kept quiet for a few moments, exchanging stares with the boys. He pondered. With the current situation a mess, the idea of allowing them to go was on to the negative side. Nonetheless, after working with them for a long time, he knew their determination were no joke, and seeing them working hard to convince him, he knew he would be convinced at the end.

Manager Park released a soft sigh as he looked at SOU’s leader. “What’s your plan?” He asked.

Han answered, “I split us into three groups to find Sky. I heard that one building isn’t checked. We’re going to look for him there.”

Manager Park turned his head to look at the building. The distance between their area and the building was quite far. It would take them five minutes to reach the other building. He said, “it’s impossible that Sky goes there.”

“The buildings are all connected. What if he’s lost in the dark?” Han paused, sighing. “He doesn’t bring his phone with him.”

“You told me we aren’t here to play, Han.”

“Yes, I did. When I said that, I thought of the possibility. Look at this place.”

Hyun butted in, “I don’t like how this place doesn’t sit well on me. There’s something dark with this place. It makes me wanting to shrink.”

Knowing Hyun, the manager had no words to say. Hyun always had sharper senses than anyone he met. He learned that Hyun is a gifted boy. After the younger man’s utterance, he believed that this place was nothing good. Manager Park wanted to convince himself for the last time, so he asked, “can you boys promise me to come back safe?”

Hyun and Han gave him serious nods.

With a heavy heart, Manager Park nodded his head. “I will find you boys if we found Sky.”

Han showed him a bitter smile. “Alright.”

“Come back if you found him or else, CEO Seo going to burn me alive.”

Han awkwardly chuckled. “Absolutely.”

Want to know one of the thing that a human had to suck it up?

Getting lost in a building and in the dark. Though, he was fortunate that the moonlight helped to light up the hallway.

Sky kept walking, walking and walking to find the way out. However, he did not see any signs of an exit. Maybe, the moonlight wasn’t any help after all. He was not fond that the path he went through looked repetitive.

Frustrated, he kicked an old notebook that laid on the ground. Brownish papers scattered, one of the paper torn when Sky kicked again. He scolded himself for going out of the area alone and not bringing his phone with him. Who knew the school’s toilet was far?

This was the moment he was going to acknowledge that he was the stupidest human in the world for making such a rash decision. He told himself, “I should’ve hold it.”

He was about to stare outside the window when he sensed a presence at the hallway. There was an old man walking out bending and limping in khaki trench coat, baggy brown pants and a bucket hat on his head. His footwear was a pair of torn, soiled white shoes.

“Excuse me, sir!” Sky called out but the old man continued to walk straight.

He continued to call him, still there were no response from the man. The old man directed his way to a route that he assumed an exit, so he followed. He jogged to the area with hopes that he finally found a way out and back to his members.

However, once he turned to the route, the scene in front of him had him stunned.
