Chapter 7

It was a bright morning. Sunlight streamed into the bedroom through the window. Alexanderdecided to leave for work earlier than usual, wanting to avoid Jennifer , or rather, to restrain his emotions when he had to talk and have breakfast with his wife.

The two guards who usually watched over Jennifer were now assigned to spy on Brandon and Jennifer . Currently, Alexanderwas sitting in his office, staring at his phone screen, waiting for news from the two guards.

"Mr. Reymond," called Tommy.
