Alexander and Jennifer were now in the car, after an eleven-hour flight from Hawaii to Mexico, heading to the residence of Auntie Ruby. It took them an additional hour by car from the airport to the apartment unit where Alexander had been raised by Auntie Ruby since childhood.

Throughout the journey, Jennifer chose to remain silent. Alexander's words about wanting to destroy her father's company troubled her deeply. Her sadness grew, and negative thoughts haunted her, making her less enthusiastic about enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii.
