Ruby had a bad feeling. She was afraid that Alexander might also send her to prison. Early in the morning, she returned to the hospital to talk to Alexander, hoping to gain his sympathy.

Ruby arrived at the hospital and went to the ICU, inquiring about El Barack's condition.

"Where's the patient who was here last night?" Ruby asked, looking at the empty bed where El Barack had been.

"The patient has been moved to the ICU on the third floor, ma'am," replied a nurse in white.

"Has his condition improved?" Ruby asked, feeling somewhat relieved.

"He briefly improved last night and was moved to a regular ward....
