Jade’s POV

I swung my bag behind me and the weight made me bend. I should head home and offload the books I am with.

My heart was certainly overjoyed that I got accepted in my new university. This was the beginning of a new path for me.

“Adieu!” I told Henry. He hadn’t responded since I told him I took a loan.

It might look bad since I don’t have a job but I’d get one soon, and Devon said he’d ask for more time for me if I needed. He was very sweet.
