I went back to Raymond’s office to report what I had just seen to him and to give him the initial documents.

“Levi, guess what I saw,” I said, and he looked up at me in anticipation. “Lucas was talking to Kayla at the company’s entrance, and they seemed to be so serious. Did they know each other before?” I questioned, and he said nothing. Instead, his eyes went cold and beasty.

“Levi, you ain't saying anything.” I shrugged

“Don't worry about it, Rena, I'll handle it,” he answered, and I just left the documents on his table and left his office.
