"I forgot, the whole room is still filled with her things," he says, walking past her and standing in front of her portrait.

"I shall get rid of it," he declared. " I do not want evil near my love," he said. " I got a better idea," Delilah says, turning all the pictures.

"See, better," she says, smiling sweetly at him. " My cunning wolf," he calls out. " My sexy alpha," She praised back.

She pulled him into another kiss, "you know I won't be able to see you tomorrow, so let's make use of today while it is still young," Delilah offered.

"I have always dreamt of making love in this bed, so my Sexy Alpha, please, I request you fulfill my wish," she went on.

"Ha!" Zelda exclaimed, “How shameless to do this while I was being buried,” she regretted knowing about this late, and now she was left to roam this palace unseen. She wouldn't be surprised if she found out that Grayson had personally murdered her during her unconscious state.

And after every effort she put into loving this man, he was not interested in her, even the slightest bit; she wondered how many times they must have mocked her.

She hopelessly walks around, visiting the royal tomb. She was surprised to see that she wasn't buried. Rather the men had scattered her ashes in front of the royal tomb, mocking her and laughing.

"Now, this is what I call a stepping stone," one mocked.

"We will tell the Alpha that the Luna was buried," A serious one spoke out, leaving them.

"What's his own," they whisper, following him from behind. She looked at the royal tomb and saw a picture of Selena, the moon goddess, as a decoration.

She was known to protect the wolf pack and to look after even the lost puppy.

"In this life, I have not committed any evil, and I have worshiped faithfully; I have looked after the pack; I died for my pack, lady Selena. If you are hearing me, please help me," She cried out.

"You promised to watch after your descendants, and yet you watch your daughter suffer humiliation,"

"I came into this world in peace but can't leave because my soul is greatly troubled."

"I want them to be punished, lady Selena; I want them to regret, I want to see them suffer, I want them to be mocked just like the way I was mocked," She cries out.

The whole place began to rubble, light shone around her, and soon, she found herself bubbling away.

Her mind was flooded with recollections, all the way back to her first encounter with Grayson.

"Father, who is he?" she asked, standing on the balcony with her father. " Grayson, he is from the royal family; you know he is here to form an allegiance," Her father responded.

"I saw him fighting the other day; it caught my interest," she confesses.

"Oh Zelda, everyone tends to catch your interest," her father teases, going down to meet him.

Another image soon showed; it was nighttime, three days after his arrival. She was lying in her room when she caught a strange scent.

"Who goes there?" she asked, her hand already transformed into a paw, her claws out.

She was about to claw the intruder when he held her hands.

"It's just me, Grayson," He announces, revealing himself...

"I thought princesses were supposed to be calm," he says.

"Says the prince who turned thief overnight," she snapped back, trying to hide her anxiety.

"I think we started on the wrong foot," He says, diverting the conversation.

"Really, but I don't have two left legs," she teased. " Woah! Now you are acting like a comedian," he murmured.

"Depending on what type of joke you like," she says. "You are an interesting young lady, my dear. Now I'm curious," he says, moving close to her.

"Your lady, are you alright," a guard called, "I can report you," she whispered. "I can frame you," she teased.

"You can but won't," he says. "Why do you think so," she asked. "Your lady," the guard yelled, running in.

Zelda looked at the door and back at Grayson, only to find him gone. "Are you alright? Was someone here?" He asked with concern.

"No one was here," she shouted. " I was trying to remember something; I'm sorry if I got you concerned," she apologizes.

"It's alright, my lady; I will get going," the guard says. As the guard turned his back, she saw Grayson peaking a bit.

His position was tricky; he could not move without being noticed and couldn't stay there for long.

Being sneaky, she decided to punish him for scaring her. "Wait," she calls out to the guard.

"Had dinner yet?" she asked. "Yes, your lady," he replied. " Where are you going after now?" she questioned further.

The guard had sensed something was wrong, and he was told that the princess tended to hide her emotions; this concerned him the most.

"Do you want anything, my lady," he asked. "Actually, I can't fall asleep; I read something scary and..." she began to stammer.

"Do you want me to watch till you sleep, your lady," he offers, getting a nod from her.

She happily lied on the bed, covering herself while he sat opposite her. He now sees why the Alpha is fond of her, why he always wanted her close to him.

Zelda's trip down memory lane abruptly ends when she comes in a brightly lit room.

"That was a perfect revenge," a soft voice calls out, laughing. "Your intelligence got Grayson staying on the roof for hours," the voice continued.

Zelda looked around to find who it was but only found a large white wolf standing in front of her.

She had sworn she had seen the decorations on the wolf's head somewhere. However, she was puzzled about why she was there.

The last thing she remembered was praying to Selena. Was she in… she gasps. "Lady Selena," she called out.

"You called me my child," the wolf answered, transforming into a beautiful lady. She immediately bowed upon seeing her.

"You were quite a fox in that scene, my brave wolf," she says.

"Lady Selena, "Zelda called out. "I Know what you want to say lil wolf; I heard your cry."

"You were true of pure heart and good grace, but life isn't fair, and you are bound to be betrayed. Your love for others got you murdered, and you left this world as a disgrace to people," Selena spoke.

"No, I can't leave like that; I want revenge," Zelda said. "Unfortunately, I can't help you with this desire you seek. It's not my duty to impose on the life of your folks," Selena explained in a sad tone.

"So I'm going to die like that; they are going to get what they want, Delilah is going to crown Luna, and I can not do anything about it?!"

"Life is not fair, love; sometimes bad people get away with things," Selena said pitifully, touching her shoulder.

"However, think outside the books; I said I can't get you the revenge you seek, but that doesn't mean there is no other way to get revenge," she hinted.

"I'm already dead, my body burnt to ashes; I can't go back," she pointed out.

"It seems you forgot that you are in the presence of a goddess, a powerful one for that," Selena said, sounding a bit offended.

"Your divine status is not lost on me; I'm only trying to be as reasonable as possible. Is it possible that I could pull off the retribution if I said I wanted to return? "Zelda questioned.

"You think I show you that memory just for fun? Come on, girl; you made Grayson stay on the rooftop for hours, unable to move; the rain fell and soaked him; he fell sick for days, wasn't that fun," Selena asked.

"I know you can do more, Zelda said.

"I'm giving you the power now to punish them; I am giving you the power to express your anger, and I am giving you the power to take revenge. Are you rejecting it?" Selena asked.

"If this is what you want, I will pass you on to the afterlife," Selena said, snapping her finger when Zelda stopped her.

"Wait, I want it; I want to make them suffer. Please, lady Selena, give me the strength to avenge them," Zelda spoke out.

"Very well, but you must know, dear Zelda, that there are rules that guide this. One, you must not let anyone know about this, no matter who he or she may be. Two, you only have one chance, so make use of it; once you are dead, you are gone," Selena listed.

"Is that all!" Zelda asked. "Lastly, once you need help, you can call on me," Selena replied.

"You are a brave young cub with great intelligence, you are Loving, you are sweet, you are beautiful," Selena's faint voice says as she disappears.

"Wait, come back; what happened next? Do I get reborn? Do I take another soul? You didn't tell me anything about how these will happen," Zelda yelled.

"Just wait," Selena replied. "Wait for what?" Zelda asked with no response.

Suddenly a sharp and familiar pain in her heart stopped her, and she couldn’t help but scream.

“Am I gonna pain to death again?” this was the last thought before she lost consciousness.
