Bab 5. Olivia Menjadi Luna

“Calm down! I will always protect you.” Zayden grabbed his wife's body.

Olivia tried to calm herself, took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

While rubbing Olivia's back gently, Zayden tried to send a telepathic message to his two trusted people. He assigned them to immediately find the wolves that had dared to enter his territory.

"What creature was bothering me earlier?"

“Same as me, but I don't know which clan he comes from yet.” Zayden hugged Olivia again, who still looked worried. “Seeing his ability to fight with me, he might be a beta of our enemy.”

"I don't understand what you're talking about," Olivia said innocently.

"It is not time yet. I will immediately mark you so that they all know that you are my woman.”

"I don't understand anymore, Zayden," said Olivia, looking sadly at Zayden.

"You must miss me, don't you?" Zayden teased him. “Blood moon!” he looked up at the moon which was full and blood red in the night sky. “My time has come, I will do it.”

Olivia frowned, she was a little annoyed because she didn't understand everything her husband said. A sentence that Olivia thought was very strange. However, he still appreciates Zayden. They walked hand in hand towards the house.

Unlike his wife, Zayden really couldn't wait to mark his woman. He had been waiting for this moment for approximately 18 years. A Luna who was destined for him will soon be here. Then his strength will be perfect. Because Olivia has a special feature that only she knows about.

They were in the room. The waiter had prepared everything that Zayden had ordered. Olivia has finished washing herself with flower water so that her body smells good. Zayden's eyes turned golden as Olivia saw them on their first night. The sweet aroma also smells very sharp.

"My husband... I like this fragrance," Olivia muttered softly. She stepped closer to Zayden. It seemed like the woman was starting to be hypnotized by Zayden's body scent. "Make me the happiest woman tonight!"

“I will not only make you happy. The whole world will know that you are my woman. Luna is the prettiest of the Avalon pack." Zayden laughed loudly, but that didn't scare Olivia. And–in his mind, Zayden said that he would soon become the strongest Alpha among the Alphas of the existing packs. “Avalon will reach the pinnacle of glory.”

They really did, Zayden had managed to tag Olivia. Even though her neck was bleeding from Zayden's bite, Olivia didn't feel any pain. He became increasingly passionate. Now, his eyes have turned golden.

“Welcome to Avalon, soft!”

“I love you, Zayden.” Luna was lying on the bed with her innocent body.

A sight like that made Zayden proud because he had succeeded in changing Olivia at the perfect time. After putting on his clothes, Zayden asks the servant to take care of Olivia. He must go through tonight's ritual well. because tomorrow, she will be introduced as Luna from the Avalon pack to all pack members.

Olivia felt her neck, "What happened to me?" The woman stood in front of the mirror in a luxurious dress that made her look like a princess.

"Miss Olivia, the ceremony will begin soon," said the maid.

“Ceremony–you mean I have to come to an event like that?”

"Correct. Mr. Zayden was waiting. This is a special day for Miss.”

Various questions appeared in her head. She didn't know that the wolves also carried out ceremonies like ordinary humans. Olivia only celebrates independence at least once a year as a citizen.

“Will everyone attend?” Olivia's question made the maid smile. "Eng... all werewolves," she muttered, looking confusedly at the middle-aged woman in front of him.

“You will know after watching it.”

For Olivia, there was never an answer that satisfied her curiosity about her husband's strange world. Like what she received now. Everything tends to be full of mystery. Even the stinging and aching feeling in his neck also felt suspicious.

Well, that's not a problem for Olivia. She followed behind the maid to go to the ceremony location that was told. The entire pack gasped when Olivia appeared. They were all amazed at her beauty.

“Long live Luna!! Long live Luna!!”

“Our blood and souls belong to Avalon!!”

“Glory to Avalon, glory to our Alpha and Luna!”

Zayden made a gesture with his hand so that the enthusiastic cheering of all the pack members stopped. The situation was quiet now. Olivia, who had been standing next to Zayden, grumbled in her heart. According to him, they are tacky and childish.

"There are quite a lot of them too," she muttered softly.

"Welcome to Avalon, Luna!" Zayden smiled.

Olivia had heard that sentence before, although she didn't know exactly when.

Olivia drew closer to her husband, then whispered, "My name is Olivia, not Luna."

Zayden smiled again, "Today, you have officially become a Luna to me and the members of Avalon."

"Am I already one of you?"

"Of course. You are my partner, the balance of my life and strength."

“B–but… I'm not a werewolf.”

“Once, now you have become part of us. I managed to tag you last night. This welcoming ceremony is also for you.”

Until the welcoming ceremony was over, Olivia was still confused. If it is true, she is the partner of the Alpha, who is none other than Zayden. That means she has also turned into a werewolf. She ran down the hall to her room. Then, Olivia looked at the large mirror in front of her. She tore the dress at the shoulders.

"Wonderful! I felt pain but there was nothing there.” Several times she looked for the possibility of Zayden's bite marks on his right and left neck. It's useless, she couldn't find it. However, one thing he immediately realized when she saw his reflection in the mirror. Her irises are golden.

"I'm a Luna." The woman fell on the floor.

She wasn't sure that the change made her happy. However, she was quite relieved because she could repay Zayden's kindness in paying off her father's debts.

“Olivia!!” Zayden grabbed her tiny body, "You're crying, what's making you sad?"

The wife was still silent. She couldn't bear to tell Zayden about her feelings now. She was afraid that her honesty would hurt Zayden's heart. She must be able to immediately adapt to her current situation. A new life that she previously thought was strange.

“There's nothing to be afraid of, darling. You are Luna, the partner who perfects my strength and immortality. I will protect you, because not only as a wife. Your safety is also Avalon's safety.”

"Zayden..." Olivia threw herself into her husband's arms.

“Believe me, darling! We will all protect you, especially me.”

Since that day, Olivia began to get used to being a werewolf. However, she still felt disgusted about eating raw meat like her husband. Every time her stomach felt hungry, she had to try hard to avoid cooked food like before.

“I'm nauseous.” Olivia's confession made Zayden even more panicked. "But my stomach hurts so much."

"Try slowly!" Zayden handed him back the raw tenderloin.

“Put that away! I really want to vomit.” Olivia gagged herself for the umpteenth time. "Milk. I just want milk."

Zayden motioned to the waiter to bring fresh milk for his wife.

For days Olivia could only drink fresh milk. The only raw food her body could accept. Her weight is reduced. She looked thin with a gaunt face. This made Zayden worried. She didn't understand much about the metamorphosis of ordinary humans turning into werewolves.

After telling his wife's suffering to several trusted people, Zayden received information about raw foods that Olivia might be able to enjoy in other ways.

“Are you sure–my wife can eat it?”

The bodyguard nodded, and Zayden immediately ordered the waiter to prepare this type of food for Olivia. He didn't want his wife to get thinner. He is really willing to do anything to look after Luna.

“We have prepared food that might cure your hunger.”

“Fried chicken, salad, or beef steak?”

Zayden shook his head, “Steak Tartare and Sashimi.”

From the name, Olivia thought the food offered by her husband sounded delicious. Just like food that humans usually eat. She obeyed her husband's wishes, they headed to the dining table.

"Remains the same. It's raw food.” Olivia's face suddenly became sullen in disappointment.

“You should at least try. It's not too bad I think, because it still uses spices and sauce." Zayden brought the plate containing raw steak closer to Olivia, "Very different from my food which is eaten raw without any seasoning."

With a heavy heart, Olivia tried it, "Wow... perfect!"

Zayden was relieved after seeing his wife eating heartily. It's not easy to leave old habits and replace them with new ones. For this reason, Zayden is patient with Olivia.

One day, Olivia wanted to visit her mother's house. He heard that the woman who gave birth to him was sick. Olivia left without waiting for Zayden who was minding his business. While on the way, he met a stranger. Whether they come from ordinary humans or werewolves. Olivia couldn't tell the difference yet.

"You just want to be fooled Zayden. I am pity on you." A woman her age lined her steps.

“Sorry–do we know each other?” Olivia continued to stare straight ahead without even glancing at the woman beside her.

“I come from your husband's class. Our leader should have managed to take you that night–”

Olivia gasped at that sentence, "So, you are our enemy?"

“You have a good memory, Olivia.” He smiled sarcastically, "If you join us that night, then we can offer you a better life than the one you are living now."

"Don't act like you know! I'm happy to be Zayden's wife."

"But he doesn't care about your mother." The woman walked a step in front of Olivia, then blocked her, “He only cares about you. He took care of you 18 years ago because you were the chosen girl."

Olivia ignored her, she continued walking and left the annoying woman.

"Wait!" shouted the woman.

This time Olivia stopped in her tracks, then turned her head, "Whatever you say won't affect me."

“I don't think so if you know your origins. And–that's the reason Zayden chose you to be his Luna.”
