The person who had been graced with this introduction looked at Rain with an interrogating gaze in his eyes, and understandably so. It was the first time he was seeing someone standing this close to Arene, and her having allowed him to do so.

According to the full extent of his knowledge, she never let anybody come near herself; then how was this person able to stand parallel to her, in place of Richard?
