"I made you pancakes."

I force myself to smile at Kelly. He's trying so hard.

When I told him I quit my job and left Klaus, he was over the moon, but he couldn't help but notice that I'm broken about it.

"Thanks, Kelly." I force myself to take a bite for his sake, but the food is the last thing I want right now.

Is this really fair to him? Kelly deserves better than to be chosen by default because I can't have the man I really want.

I can't bring myself to leave, though. Without Klaus, Kelly is all I have. How will ever get...
