The holidays are over and our normal everyday life has us firmly in its grip again.

Today is Asher's first game of the new year. I'm meeting up with Isla so we can watch it together. She's also become a bit of a hockey fan.

Asher described today's opponents as a bunch of cherry pickers and divers. I didn't really relate to that. He explained to me that they like to stand near the net and hope that a bad pass will land the puck in their court so they can score, rather than trying to score through actual play. When that doesn't work, they tend to fake fouls....
