Of course, Isla wants to know how things went between Josh and me. When I tell her that he asked me to go to the party with him next weekend, she squeals with delight, which makes me laugh.

I can't quite feel that much euphoria. I'm looking forward to it, but I think I'll need a while to get used to it. But I appreciate how much Isla does it for me.

Unfortunately, I can't stay with her much longer because I still have some housework to do.

It's hard to believe, but alongside all these other things, I actually still have my studies. I urgently need to focus...
