Chapter 6 6

Chapter 6 6

"Next!...my dear, wake up."

I heard my mother's voice whisper in my ear, and I felt her soft hand on my cheek.

I opened my eyes heavy to see the clear blue sky and birds flying so beautifully and in harmony that my eyes follow them wherever they fly.

I looked up more, and saw my mother's radiant face,

She is smiling and her eyes are beautifully small.

I reached out to her face and touched him, to feel his warmth.

“You fell asleep, my love, I'm sorry to wake you up.” Mom said, still lightly touching my cheek.

“It’s okay, just the fresh air made me fall asleep inadvertently, and your hug is soothing, so I couldn’t resist.”

A breeze moved my hair to cover my eyes, I tried to push it away, but it stuck and refused to move from my face.

“Wow, this is annoying.” I said angrily, brushing my hair.

My mother tried to hide her face and giggle by placing her hand over her mouth, but it was no use and I heard her.

I, in turn, shared her giggles.  Then she moved her hand that was touching my cheek and brushed the hair from my face.

"Now your feisty hair is back in place, are you feeling better?"

I nodded yes and smiled at her.

She stared into my eyes for a while as if she wanted to speak, then she moved her stare in front of her

“Next……..I have to tell you something important, something that you should always keep in mind and never forget no matter what.

I want you to remember him in difficult and sad times, I want you to remember him if you go through an endless tunnel.

And when you get into trouble, use it when you need it.  "

I raised my head from her lap in question and sat straight next to her.

"What is this important matter? And why are you speaking so strangely?"

You didn't look at me when she answered and kept staring at the horizon.

“I want you to take people's trust, but not give them yours.

I want you to give to people and not expect them to give you in return.

And to help them, but do not expect them to help you.”

She closed her eyes, inhaled, and continued on

"Whenever you fall, stand up quickly, but be careful and learn from your mistake. Whenever you feel weak, remember that it is only a short time and it will pass. Nothing goes on in life whether it is beautiful or ugly.

Because every shadow, no matter how deep it is, is threatened by daylight.

There is a saying that my mother always told me:

Life is a dream for the wise, a game for fools, a comedy for the rich and a tragedy for the poor.  "

My mother looked at me with my eyes sternly and continued her words

“I want you to be wise next, I want you to make your decisions with courage and intelligence.

Do not be deceived, do not believe anything, and most importantly do not close your eyes to those around you, even for a moment.

Because a person has two types when he sees himself in danger, the first turns into a selfish demon who thinks only of himself and leaves others behind him.

You, I want you to be the second kind, who turns selfish, but if only helpless.  Be helpful when you see that you can pull others with you and save them.  "

I stared at her in astonishment, because I did not understand her words well.  I got closer to her and then asked her

"Why are you telling me this? Why?"

And at last she looked at me with tenderness in her eyes.  She held both of my hands together and answered me in a soft voice

"Because I love you.... Because I care about you, your happiness, and your life. So I'm telling you this, I want you to know that I won't always be by your side, and one day when you wake up and don't find me, know that I'm here--"

She put her finger on my heart and finished

"I will forever be in your heart, to protect it, all you long for me put your hand on and remember that I live within you."

She came close to me and kissed me on the forehead, remained still for a long time, then turned away and whispered in a voice like honey

"Next, your family and I love you very much. My last request from you, to remember us and remember that we are with you always."

My mother left my hand and stood holding her floor-length brown dress so she wouldn't step on it.  I wanted to stand up, but something was stopping me.

" where are you going? "

She smiled at me with a smile that reached the eyes and answered as she moved away from me with small steps, heading towards the sunlight.

“I must go now. Before I leave….promise me that you will not forget my words!”

I didn't answer her because I knew it was a dream and she wouldn't stay with me for the rest of my life.  If I answer her at once, she will leave and leave me alone again.

"Won't you promise me?"

My tears began to fall one after another, hot and salty tears running to my lips.

"I promise you mom.... I promise I won't forget anything as long as my body breathes and my soul clings to it."

She looked at me for the last time with sadness and happiness in her eyes, then she turned her back on me and continued her long way, leaving her little daughter wounded and bleeding from the severity of the pain.

I quickly opened my eyes filled with tears.

I erased it because it blinds me from seeing in front of me.

So I was right, it's a dream.

When I took my mind off the painful dream, I remembered that I was still alive!  And I have nothing wrong or bad.

And when I looked at where I was, the first thing I was surprised at was its size.

In a large room of about fifty people with a high ceiling dotted with paintings, there is a giant chandelier filled with lights from glass.

The room's walls are glossy, off-white.  The floor is covered with red and brown carpets.

There are also a lot of wooden shelves with different kinds of books and furniture for decoration.

In the corner of the room was a desk with papers stacked on top of each other, more books and maps, and a gold scale with iron bars at both ends.

I looked at the bed on which I was sitting, with white and red silk sheets covering my feet.  The bed is the size of a king bed.

It has four posts in each corner, hanging sheer curtains to cover the bed when you move it.

Where in heaven am I?

I asked myself in amazement.

I pulled my legs out from under the covers, and stood on the ground with bare feet.  When I looked at myself I realized that I was still in the same clothes, am I still dreaming or is it still the same day?

I did not finish my thinking and contented myself with looking at the beauty of the room, which has many lights on every wall in it.

Before I could take a single step from where I was, I heard a small female voice like a child say

"Finally, you have woken up, human!"

I looked right and left, behind me and again in front of me, but there was no one.

The voice came back again, saying in an annoyed tone

"Look down on your right, I'm here."

When I looked down, I saw a short-sized creature with a body of wood and a nose like a short tube, with black silky shoulder-length hair, a plain green neck-hugging dress, but no shoes.

I fell to the ground in amazement and wide eyes, not believing what I saw.

“Who… who are you? What are you doing here?”

The creature smiled sarcastically and replied, clasping its arms together

"First of all, I am a female, my name is Teilar. What am I doing here? Well I live in this house. And I am the one who should ask the same question, but I know the answer so I won't bother with you."

I blinked a million times before getting back on my feet.  This creature lives here?  How do I get to her house?

I don't even remember but.... Oh right, the last time I remembered was when I was in my house on the floor after you died--

I stopped myself before bringing back the tragic memory.

How is that?  What happened, why don't I remember anything?

“Hmm, are you going to stand there without saying a word? What are you running about?” Teilhard asked.

I looked at her again, and for some reason I don't feel porcelain at all, so I came a little closer and asked her next

"What happened? How did I get here? Why don't I remember anything?"

Teilhard breathed air from her mouth and answered, placing her hand on her waist, leaning against one more oasis leg.

"Listen, you have many questions running through your head, I will try to relieve you of fear and anxiety, by answering superficial questions, but the rest you will know from him."

She took a deep breath and continued her words in her childish voice, although her appearance and manner of speaking suggest that she is much older than that.

"I don't know much information, because he only told me that you are a human who needs help, after knowing about the world of fairies, he had to take you to ours to keep you and keep the secret out of danger. He put a simple spell on you to sleep, so you don't remember how  I got here. That's what I know."

Why do you repeat *it* every time?  who is this person?....

Oh right!!  Looks like she's talking about that vile genie.

Teilar went to the large wardrobe and took out a dress of the most beautiful I had ever seen, long and floor-length, the color of port mist (a shade of light blue).

From the top, it has no neck, but is completely exposed and does not have shoulders, fluttered in gold, but the sleeves are transparent in the color of the dress, covering long arms that also reach the floor like a curtain connected to the corner of the chest.

The skirt is a slightly different color than the dress, has a slit in the middle that shows the leg.

These dresses cost so much, it's the same price as my family's hut and even more, only the people of the upper class wear such clothes.

Teilhard picked him up carefully and put him on the bed

"Take this, O mankind, and put it on, it will look good on you." And I brought the food.
