Stephanie's POV

I listened with rapt attention as he talked about his people, at least he was talking to me and I was glad. But then something was off. Why was he talking as if he's some sort of royalty?

"So will you continue your tour after now?" I asked.

It's obvious that such a powerful man was moving around, he must definitely be looking for something. I was really sure about that.

"No," he shook his head. "After getting you settled down in a new pack, I will return to mine and settle there with my people. I've had enough of the tour. My people need me," he replied....
