“ Yes. It isn't magic, like you want to believe," he said, firmly.
Even though I doubted him, I didn't want to argue with him. I nodded my head but did not say a word, I was scared of talking.
"Hey, tell me what to do," I called Laila.
" I'm thinking," she said.
We sat there and none of us said a word for a while which was getting me more nervous. I had apologised but he didn't acknowledge it.
Was he planning to be mad at me till we go our separate ways? That thought got my heart beating fast.
