The rumors were getting worse with each passing day.

Alpha Gregory had done a good job trying to stop me from hearing the rumors but the volumes at which the pack members spoke were loud.

Now I understand why I was getting those strange looks each time I stepped out of the chambers.

To make the pack members believe I was loyal to them, I did all I could to make that happen and even got involved in their little talks but it didn't suffice.

They were all still suspicious and whenever I joined them, it was either they changed the topic of their discussion or the gathering...
