Chloe's POV:

I walked into the room, shoulders high and head raised. Mark was sitting on the large bed which was similar to the one I had in the other room, while Marcus was sitting in front of a desk, writing away on a long sheet of paper.

I walked over to him, staring him in the face but his eyes never raised up to meet mine. He remained focused on whatever he was writing, acting like I wasn't present in the room. I scoffed, turning my attention to Mark.
