19. Acceptance.

Chloe's POV:

I was left in amazing wonder as Marcus pulled open the door, to reveal a long passage way. He clapped twice and the candles which I hadn't noticed were perched on the walls, came alive.

“Ladies first,” he said, ushering me with a gesture of his hand. I stared down at our joined hands, a smile sneaking up my lips. I went in and he followed right behind me. At first, it seemed like a long, endless passage way in a gigantic rock that made up a waterfall.
