I hid deeper into the shadows of the trees, as I watched Chloe through my window. A smirk grew on my lips as I saw her coming towards the window.

I'd guessed right, she was a stubborn little wolf who wouldn't bother taking permission from her guard to leave, she'd want to make an escape.

I waited with bated breath for her to reach for the window. She finally did and I inhaled sharply, my mind spinning with disbelief and fear as she quickly withdrew her hand.
