Aria's POV
Winter settled over Shadow Peak with unusual severity.
Heavy snowfall blocked roads. Temperatures dropped below what anyone could remember from previous years. The school had to suspend outdoor activities completely.
Students grew restless being confined indoors. Cabin fever set in quickly among children used to more freedom.
"We need to give them outlets," Beth stressed during an emergency staff meeting. "Before restlessness turns into more fights."
"Suggestions?" I asked.
"Indoor activities. Competitions. Projects. Anything to burn energy and keep minds occupied."
We organized teams for various challenges. Academic competitions. Creative projects. Problem-solving exercises that required collaboration.
