Aria's POV

The funeral for Owen happens at noon. Not because anyone cares about him but because Drogo says we need to keep up appearances. Make it look like we're mourning the loss of a pack member instead of celebrating that a traitor is dead.

I stand next to Drogo while Marcus says some generic words about loyalty and sacrifice. It's all bullshit. Owen wasn't loyal to anything except himself and his sacrifice was murdering innocent people for money.

The envoys from the Northern Pack are here too. Standing in the back looking appropriately somber. I watch them carefully. One of them might have killed Owen. Or they...
