The next day, Tessa went to Wendy's room to tell her all that happened. Wendy acted happy to see Tessa when in reality, she couldn't care less if anything was wrong with her. Wendy expressed how relieved she was to see her after days had passed.

"I even came to your room repeatedly" Wendy said "What happened? What made you so sad that you refused to come out? That has never happened before"

"Collins betrayed me"

Tessa told her everything. She told her about the letter, about how she saw him by the lake and his explanation when he sneaked into her room.
