I opened my office door with shaking hands, trying to calm myself after what happened earlier. My head was still full of all the commotion that happened, but I couldn't let it bother me any longer. As I stepped into the room, my gaze fell on my desk, which was usually my sanctuary, but this time it felt like a burden. I sat down on the chair, took a deep breath, and tried to think clearly, but my head was filled with voices colliding with each other.
