When Logan pulled my hand, I could only stare for a few seconds. The atmosphere around me felt so foreign, even though I had just arrived at the office a few minutes ago. And suddenly, Thea came attacking me like a storm. Then Logan appeared, like a hero protecting the victim, but I was not a victim, and I didn't want him to protect me like this. Especially with the way he handled the situation earlier, telling Thea to leave and then canceling the business cooperation. It was too much.

I pulled my hand from his grip, and the feelings that were boiling in my chest immediately exploded....
