Karina, caught off guard by her daughter's question, remained mute, the words she had been trying to form in her head refusing to match with what she was sure her daughter wanted her to say. She could feel her heart racing as she desperately searched for the right words to explain the situation to her daughter. The silence in the room became almost unbearable, leaving Karina grappling with her own emotions and the weight of her daughter's innocent curiosity. 

"Mom," Her daughter tapped her on the shoulder, tired of waiting over a minute without getting any response.
