My office had floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking view of the castle. There were shelves of books lined up along the walls.

It was my first day today, and I was nervous. Kane smiled at me. He was my aide, so we would be working closely together.

There was a knock on the door, and Flora walked in, followed by Stephen, holding flowers, probably from Flora's garden.
