Crystal’s POV;

School was dreadful. I kept forgetting answers to questions in the exam hall, and all the eyes on me almost made me bore myself into the ground. I was finally done with my paper, and was making my way out of school with my head hanging. Thanking the goddess, that at least I didn’t bump into Alina or Sebastian, when I heard my name.

“Crystal!! “

I froze on the spot when I heard her voice, and I almost screamed in annoyance. My skin crawled when I felt someone grab my wrist, and when I turned around and saw Alina, I wanted to just die!

"Let go of me, Alina. "I say in exhaustion as I try to wriggle my first free from her grip, but she tightens her grip instead.

"Oh, come on, now. I can't just let you go, piglet. You've hidden long enough, and I've waited long enough to do this.

Tell me. How does it feel getting so close to being the Luna of our pack, and then being reduced to the complete nothingness that you are? "She says, and I take a deep breath before yanking my hand out of her grip and pushing her away from me, and to my shock, she falls to the ground.

"What is your problem, Alina!? What did I ever take from You? Why do you devote your life to frustrating me? Don't you have better things to do!? I don't have any business with you, so get off my back! "I yell at her, and Alina, who is now on the floor, stares up at me in surprise. But to my shock, she starts screaming and wailing.

"What are you... What are you doing? "I question in shock and confusion, but she just keeps wailing. Attracting the attention of all the people around.

"Alina, what are you doing!? "I question frantically in fear, but she only screams louder and keeps crying.

"Alina! "One of her minions suddenly yells from the crowd and I watch as Alina’s three Minions run up to her. I watch in confusion as they kneel beside her, anda crowd starts forming around us.

Everyone begins to look at me like I'm some monster, and I understand what's going through their minds, but before I can speak, I hear Sebastian’s voice cut me off as he rushes into the middle of the circle to where Alina and I are.

"Alina!? Baby, what happened? "He questions as he scoops Alina into his arms, and I roll my eyes and clench my fists. Unsure of how to feel about this scene.

"What did you do to her!? "He suddenly roars at me, and before I can speak, Alina starts talking amidst sobs.

"I... I just came to ask how she was doing because she... She wasn't in school yesterday, and I... I asked her nicely to accept your rejection but then... But then she told me that I'm a slut for stealing... Her mate away from her, and... and that I ruined all her chances of... Of ever being Luna...

I... I tried to tell her that it was nothing like that, and that... and that we love each other, but then she pushed me... "She cries and my jaw drops in disbelief.

"The fuck!? "I question in shock, and she snuggles closer to Sebastian.

"Babe... My... My wrist hurts and... And I think I scraped my knee... "She cries, and Sebastian looks up at me, causing me to involuntarily gulp.

"She's lying. We never had that conversation. I... I never said that. And I.. "I begin, but one of her minions screams at me.

"Stop lying! I saw you push her! "She screams, and I feel tears build in my eyes.

"Did you push her or not? "Sebastian questions, and I struggle to blink my tears back…

"Well, yes I did. But I only did so because she was hurting my arm, and she refused to let go of m- "I begin, but am cut off by Sebastain’s growl.

"How dare you hurt her!? Are you jealous of her? Do you envy her? Because I rejected you and chose her, you thought you could hurt her!? "He screams at me, and I can no longer hold my tears back.

"I didn't hurt- "I begin, but he yells at me.

"All she did was ask you to accept the rejection, you pig! And you dared to hurt her!? "He screams at me. Embarrassing me once again in front of people.

"Don't talk to me like that! "Sofia growls through me, and I begin to feel rage surge through me.

"Or what!? "He growls back, and I shudder in fear. Sofia might be a powerful wolf, but Sebastian is still above us in rank. He's the prince. The soon-to-be Alpha.

"What would you do, Crystal!? Hurt me too? "He questions as he closes the gap between us, and I look away.

"You envy Alina because she is prettier and better than you. And because she's my choice. What did you think? Did you really think I'd accept you, and that one day, you'd be the Luna of this pack?? You!?

What in the goddess's name permitted such a wild dream in your stupid head!? I would NEVER EVER accept you, Crystal. I'd rather be stabbed in the heart with a silver blade than accept you! "He screams, and I struggle to keep myself from completely breaking down.

"Accept the rejection. Right here, and right now, in front of all these people! "He demands, and I stare at him.

Sofia is threatening to break free from inside me and claw his stupid face. I can feel her burning right beneath my skin. If I don't take charge of my body right now, she will take control, and attack the prince. A mistake I can't allow, as I would be punished harshly for it. If not killed.

I swallow harshly and try my best to suppress Sofia before taking a step closer to Sebastian and looking him right in his stupid blue eyes.

"I Crystal Valois, accept your rejection, Sebastian Payne. "I say. Digging my nails into the palm of my hands to refrain from reacting to the physical pain that statement just caused me. It felt like I took a bullet to the chest, but I won't let this bastard see me in any more pain.

"I would rather spend the rest of my life as a rogue than to be tied to an egocentric, self-centered, narrow-minded, thick-skulled, pompous, over privileged, talentless, and disgusting spoiled brat like you! "I add at the top of my lungs, and the crowd gasps.

"And I do not envy your artificial, low budget Barbie doll girlfriend in any way. I'd rather be an old witch than spend a day as her. She's so disgusting, I wonder how she can live with herself. I wonder if she even has any real friends, or pesky little slaves who just rally around her for what they have to gain. "I add as I adjust my backpack on my shoulders, and I hear Alina and her minions gasp.

"Babe... "She calls in her artificial, tiny voice, and I roll my eyes.

"How dare you!? Take that back! "Sebastian growls as he grabs my arm. Squeezing it tightly, and I whimper at the pain.

"Take everything you just said back! Take it back right now! "He growls, squeezing even tighter. Any tighter than this, and he'd either burst my arm or crush my bones.

"You're hurting me you scumbag! "I scream with tears in my eyes, and he scoffs.

"I know that, bitch. Now take back everything you just said about Alina and me before I lose every ounce of self-control that's left in me. Cause I swear, I would make you regret everything you just said. "He says, and I stare up at the monster in front of me.

Sofia takes control of my body, and before I can stop her, she throws my head back with force and slams it right into Sebastian’s, and as he lets go of me and groans in pain, I can't stop myself from screaming in pain.

"Sofia! "I scream, but she's not done. Before I can stop her, I find myself on top of Sebastian. Landing blows on his stupid face.

People quickly intercede and tear me away from him, and Sebastain just lays there, groaning and cradling his stupid, hurting face, with Alina screaming beside him.

I only got lucky cause he didn't see any of my attacks coming, and I didn't give him time to recover from one before hitting him with another.

"I feel bad for this pack cause one day, a jerk like you is going to be its ruler. "I spit at him before turning around and running out of the school and straight to my house. Running through shortcuts I know, and not stopping for a second.

I only stop when I get into my house, and Eleanor rushes out of her room on hearing the sound of someone barging into the house.

"Crystal... Honey, what happened? "She questions in concern, and I lose it.

"I hate this stupid pack! "I yell as I run up to my room and shut myself in.

I just attacked our soon to be Alpha. What will happen to me now???
