The conference was over and Selina stood in front of me, she looked nothing like her ghost self, the left side of her face was completely ruined with scarring from the fire, her mouth and eye pulled into a permanent sneer.

The surgeons had tried their best to fix it up but this was the best they could do. She wore sunglasses and a scarf to hide the hideousness of her face but it didn’t hide the truth, people had seen her already and knew how she looked… even knew how hideous she was at heart.
