The next day, I left for work early, but not before Brian made sure I was well fed and told me several times to stay away from Merlin.

I liked how jealous he was getting.

I gave him a kiss in a hurry and went out to get my car.

“I could drive you,” he said, winking at me.

“Noooo, I can drive myself just fine, don't be late for work” I said, chuckling as I drove out of the compound into the street, and in minutes, I was at the office.
