What the hell was Brielle doing here? Daisy was the one who had fallen with the car, why was Brielle here all of a sudden?

I stared at the officers wondering what sort of joke they could be playing on me right now. Why was Brielle in the water, why is she dead and why the hell does she have my wife’s ring on her? What was going on?
