I waited for the  Stewart family to leave and I lied to my mother that I had gone to work in the garden because I wanted to talk to Chad.

Earlier today I saw them kiss in the orchard before Emma left and I'm actually surprised because my best friend never mentioned anything about the two of them getting serious.
