I look up and meet his fierce gaze. The warrior’s eyes are filled with a murderous intensity that sends fear coursing through me. Despite my trembling heart, I try to maintain my composure. Thoughts of escape race through my mind, but I remain rooted to the spot, unable to move. His piercing stare seems to suffocate me, making it difficult to draw a breath. Once more, he glares at me with a look that could kill. I understand that he is only trying to intimidate me, but in that moment, I am unfazed.
