A total of seven days Tristan and Sophia spent exploring the city of Paris. In contrast to Raphael, Aurora, and Mario who returned home two days after the wedding was over. Tristan chose to show his wife around first.
The two of them seemed to spend their time traveling, visiting tourist attractions, and meeting relatives scattered throughout Paris. In fact, Tristan and Sophia also had a few nights staying at one of the selected hotels to just experience what is called a honeymoon like couples in general.
"Are you enjoying your holiday this time?" asked Tristan while hugging Sophia's body tightly.
Both of them had just woken up from sleep after previously feeling exhausted because they spent most of the night kissing each other intimately. Tristan seemed to feel that it would be a great loss if the time they had was not used as well as possible.
"Of course. I love being in Paris. But Dubai is still the most memorable for me," Sophia joked, leaning her head casually on Tristan's chest.
"Why is that?" astonished Tristan. It certainly wonders why Sophia prefers Dubai over Paris. Even though when they were in the Middle Eastern country, they did nothing. In fact, they often fight like cats and dogs.
"Who knows." Sophia shrugged her shoulders. "I feel that when I was in Dubai, you treated me very sweetly. It was very similar to when we first met. You tried your best to attract my attention. Make me comfortable and also do whatever impresses me."
Tristan laughed. He understood what his wife meant. But most women do, right? It's great to get attention. Then feel flattered if there is a man who acts as if chasing him.
"So you don't think I was cute in Paris?"
Sophia shook her head immediately.
"Not at all. While you're here, you're annoying. Every night you always make me tired. I also just found out that you are the type of man who is never satisfied. Luckily I'm starting to get trained now."
Crisp laughter came back from Tristan's lips. While kissing his wife on both cheeks because of exasperation, he responded to the protesting remark.
"But you are happy and enjoy it, right? The proof is that you always chant my name in every breath you take."
"Yes of course I said your name, Tristan," Sophia snapped. "Since I'm playing with you, it'd be funny if I moaned Edward's name."
"Tsk!" Stopping the kisses on Sophia's face, Tristan immediately chuckled in annoyance.
"Why are you all talking about Edward? It's too lazy to talk about other men in an intimate moment like this, Sophia," the man protested.
"That's not that annoying, Master Quartararo," Sophia said. She seemed to be debating what her husband had just said. "That doesn't compare to my annoyance when I see you being hugged or kissed by Meggy, your ex-girlfriend."
Tristan laughed again. Even though this problem has been resolved, Sophia still loves to bring it up. "Just a hug as a friend, honey. It doesn't mean anything. You saw the other day, I didn't even reciprocate, did I?"
"But you didn't refuse either, Tristan. Why are you so flirtatious!"
"I?" Tristan pointed at his face. "You say I'm flirty?"
Sophia nodded. Confirming previous accusations.
"If not flirty then what is it?"
"But for God's sake, honey. I don't for a second think of the hug Meggy gave me the other day. It wasn't much anyway."
Sophia's eyebrows lifted up high. Nodding, the woman spoke again.
"Yes. That's nothing compared to what you used to kiss many times and maybe even do more things with Aurora. I'm sure before you met me, you also often made out with Aurora. Shit! Why did I have to fall in love with a pervert like you. "
"Good grief." Tristan immediately exclaimed in frustration. Ask yourself, why do creatures called women like their names to bring up mistakes in the past. Dissatisfied it seems if you do not discuss mistakes that have never been done or repeated again. "Why are we discussing Aurora now?"
"Yes, because in the past you and Aurora have done things that are outrageous," Sophia chuckled.
"But I've apologized many times. After all, we just kissed. Nothing more. I swear to God."
"Just the same!"
"Then how about you?" Tristan, who was at a loss for words, now asked back with narrowed eyes. Looking for loopholes to strike back at his wife.
"What do you mean? What's wrong with me?"
"Don't be selfish, Sophia. You were also close to Edward. I know Edward's character and behaviour. You two must have made out, even if it was just a hot kiss. Am I right?
Sophia's face immediately flushed. It can't be helped that what Tristan accuses is true. She and Edward kissed more than three times when her and Tristan's relationship was strained. But admitting what her husband accused just now, of course, he is proud.
"It's ... it's ... don't need to talk about it anymore. You are annoying!"
Sophia then brushed off Tristan's hand that was wrapped around her waist. He straightened up and lifted the blanket. Slowly inched out of bed.
"Sophia, are you mad at me?" asked Tristan innocently. Even so, he felt he had done nothing wrong. Why was his wife suddenly upset?
"You think for yourself."
"Jesus Christ. Are you really mad?"
Tristan then got up too. I got off the bed and stepped closer to Sophia, who was now standing in front of the cupboard and was taking a bathrobe from inside. "Don't be angry, honey. Why be jealous over things that don't matter?"
Sophia was silent. Instead of answering, the woman just walked away, intending to leave Tristan to go to the bathroom.
Exasperated with his wife's behaviour, who deliberately ignores him, Tristan gives chase. Without counting again immediately lifted, carrying Sophia's body into the bathroom. If you are angry like this, there is only one way to relieve it. Yes, invite the woman to have fun.
After cleaning up, finishing breakfast, and tidying up some things in the suitcase, Tristan and Sophia decided to leave the hotel room at precisely 10 am. Hurry to the car, ready to go to the airport right away. Today is the schedule for their return to London after a week of enjoying vacation time.
Along the way, Tristan was seen busy chatting with his lawyer. He was discussing the divorce process, which was finally officially cancelled.
"The process was suspended a few days ago, Mister. As of today it's officially revoked. That means your marital status has returned to the beginning," said lawyer Tristan on the other side.
"Thanks for the help," said Tristan with relief. "Then, regarding my father-in-law's trial, how is it progressing? Have you received a verdict?"
"Yes. Yesterday we arrived at the final trial and sentencing. As of today, the defendant is in the detention center that has been determined by the court."
Tristan ended his phone call and then broke the news to Sophia. Once they arrived at the airport, they only had to wait for approximately 40 minutes before the plane they were travelling on took off and arrived in London two hours later.
Setting foot back in London, Tristan and Sophia didn't go straight home. They both chose to visit Alfonso first in Smallville, one of the prison houses on the outskirts of London.
After travelling overland for about an hour, they arrived at their destination. As soon as they arrived, Tristan and Sophia immediately approached the officers then were directed to go directly to the meeting room, which was at the back. There, Alfonso was already waiting for the two of them to arrive.
"Papa," Sophia said impatiently. She immediately pulled the available chair. She was sitting there looking at his father's face from behind the glass partition that separated their position from the prisoners. "How are you feeling okay?" asked the woman then. Seeing the slightly thin condition of Alfonso's body, he was sure his father would have difficulty eating while he was here.
"Papa is fine, Sophia. Papa is pleased to see you and your husband here today." Alfonso's gaze then turned to Tristan, sitting right next to Sophia. "Finally you two are together again?"
Tristan smiled and then nodded. He confirmed what his mother-in-law said.
"We were able to get back together thanks to Papa's help too. If Papa didn't tell Sophia, maybe this woman next to me wouldn't have the recklessness to chase her all the way to Paris."
The three of them laughed for a moment. Then soon, it was Tristan's turn to speak again.
"Thank you very much, Pa. Thank you for finally agreeing to my relationship with Sophia. I am truly grateful to be able to maintain my marriage with Sophia and start all over again."
Alfonso nodded. Also touched by what his son-in-law said. When he remembered what had happened, he didn't expect to be this happy. Even though he was locked up in prison, at least now he no longer has any grudges or big problems that he has to face. Remembering that Tristan used to hate his family so much, who would have thought that now this man had melted down and turned into a good and responsible son-in-law?
"It's Papa who should be thanking you, Tristan. If only you were still holding grudges and putting your ego first, maybe today's meeting would never have happened. Papa also wants to apologize in person for all the dishonorable things he has done to your family. Papa is right. -Really regret it. Really regret it."
Tristan smiled. Seeing the sad look in Alfonso's eyes, he believed his father-in-law said sincerely. After all, a sentence of five years in prison is more than enough to make up for all the evil deeds that the man has done in the past.
"Why is the atmosphere so sad like this?"
Sophia, who was almost moved to tears, looked rebuked. If he kept quiet, maybe he would cry right then and there, seeing his husband and father trapped in a moment of emotion because they forgave each other.
"It's not sad, Sophia," Alfonso said. "But the expression is happy because in the end our family can really feel happy. Papa prays that after this your household will be harmonious. As soon as Papa comes home, you already have many children from Tristan."
Both agreed to Alfonso's prayer. After getting back together like this, who wouldn't want to have children? Even though she realizes that it's not easy for Sophia to have children, there's nothing wrong with hoping and continuing to pray.
