“Why did you run away again yesterday?” I asked. The basketball court was cleared out, leaving just Zoe and me. I knew I was interrupting her work today, but it wasn’t a big deal. Ever since I realized this issue last night while lying in bed, I couldn't sleep. I felt I had to come and clarify things with her.
